Commercial property development

Commonly known as the "Hollywood Hotel", this art deco building is located on the corner of Foster and Campbell Streets in Surry Hills, and only minutes to Central Station. Formerly owned by the late Doris Goddard, the pub is regarded an icon of the Sydney hospitality scene. Since its acquisition in June 2021, the Hollywood Hotel has re-opened its doors to customers, with plans to refurbish levels two and three.

Residential property development mezzanine debt

Partnering with a local developer, this development was in Freshwater, a seaside suburb on Sydney's Northern Beaches. The Petersen Group provided mezzanine finance to assist with the acquisition of the land and remained a capital partner until the project was completed ~18 months later.

Residential property development preferred equity

This property is located in Sydney smallest suburb, and is only 10km west of the Sydney CBD. Acquired in one-line with DA and CC approval, we partnered with the Sponsor to revamp the existing building and add a level with two penthouse apartments. As the project neared completion, the Sponsor refinanced and undertook an equity buy-back.
