The Petersen Family Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation established in 2011 by Arvid & Karen Petersen as a vehicle for the families’ lifelong commitment to philanthropic activities. The Foundation supports numerous charities with a focus on health and education, particularly the disadvantaged, sick children and more vulnerable communities.

Our work in this space has special meaning and has developed over time through personal, face-to-face relationships.

Based in Sydney, we donate to multiple selected charities with a presence in NSW, Australia. Our ongoing commitment is to grow the Petersen Family Foundation to support our younger and more vulnerable communities.

As well as donating directly to charities, the Foundation also participates and supports fundraising efforts to raise awareness and much needed funds.

The Petersen Family Foundation can only approve grants to organisations endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) as a Deductible Gift Recipient Type 1 (DGR1).
