Our success is built on working with trusted, like-minded partners. It’s through these partnerships that Petersen Group delivers long term investment returns.
A B O U T U S
The Petersen Group was established by Arvid Petersen in 2003 to manage the family’s investments.
Since inception, the Group has grown a portfolio which today focuses on managed funds, property, private equity & philanthropic activities through its charitable foundation. However, unlike other investment companies, we’re different - investing is personal.
We invest on behalf of the Petersen family with a genuinely long-term investment horizon to deliver compounding returns. These returns are ultimately used to support family members with their education, and pursuit of entrepreneurial and other career interests. This is achieved through a strong and diversified investment strategy, and partnerships founded on long-term relationships, trust and professionalism.
We’re also committed to giving back and supporting the disadvantaged, sick children and more vulnerable communities through our family foundation
O U R A P P R O A C H
Our corporate structure and tightly-held shareholder base is genuinely aligned with a long-term investment strategy.
We are focused on compounding returns generated by backing strong companies, experienced management teams and investment professionals.
The nature of our mandate reflects our style. We invest both directly and in partnership with high-quality, like-minded individuals who are passionate about their ideas and have committed capital at stake. We bring proven business and financial acumen to our investments, as well as strong governance. While these skills serve us well to assess opportunities, understanding the people driving the investment remains fundamental to our approach.
